Cookie Policy Small files, honest disclosure.

What cookies we set, why, and how you can control them.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by your browser at the request of a website. Cookies help the site remember you between visits and understand usage patterns.

2. Cookies we use

Cookie Purpose Type Duration
jplandfarms_session Keeps you logged in as you move between pages. Strictly necessary 2 hours (session)
XSRF-TOKEN Prevents Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks on forms. Strictly necessary 2 hours (session)
_ga, _ga_* Google Analytics 4 — anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (page views, source of traffic). Analytics Up to 13 months

Strictly-necessary cookies are required for the site to function (staying logged in, submitting forms safely). They are not used for advertising and cannot be disabled without breaking the site.

Analytics cookies are used only in aggregated, anonymised form to understand how the site is used and to improve it. IP addresses are truncated by Google Analytics 4 before storage.

3. We do not use

  • Advertising cookies from ad networks
  • Cross-site tracking cookies
  • Social-media pixels (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, X)
  • Session-replay tools that record your screen

4. How to control cookies

  • Browser controls: your browser settings let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break login and form submission.
  • Google Analytics opt-out: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to opt out of GA on every site.
  • Withdraw consent: analytics cookies are set only after you use the site — email info@jplandandfarms.com to withdraw consent and we will forward the deletion request to Google.

5. Changes

We will update this policy if we add or remove cookies. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
